ABOUT ALEXANDRA
Alexandra's paintings are inspired by the beauty and wonder of nature, the magic and vastness of the Universe, and the themes of infinity and interconnectedness of everything in the microcosm and the macrocosm. As the great Shakespeare wrote in Hamlet, by "the Divinity that shapes our ends."
Having lived most of her life in the UK, Alexandra took a two-year sabbatical in India from 2009 to 2010 to pursue self-development, philosophy and spiritual studies. In 2022, she moved to Malta, where she now lives and works.
Alexandra pursues art, alongside continuing philosophy and spiritual studies, and working as an advisor for HNW/UHNW families, in the field of Investor Migration. She has been painting since 2011, initially self-taught and later through art courses, including Contemporary Painting and Drawing at Central Saint Martins in London, and private tuition.
With a keen eye for detail and a love for experimentation, Alexandra's work spans a variety of styles and mediums, from hyperrealistic to abstract, including oil, acrylic, texture paste, on canvas, and wooden panels. This versatility and curiosity are evident in various pieces, as she continuously pushes the boundaries of her creativity and bravery.
Alexandra is currently working on a collection of cosmos-themed pieces, to be released in the coming months. These striking, unusual paintings will feature philosophical and spiritual concepts wrapped up in textured acrylics and oils, in a unique style she has been developing and experimenting with. Aimed to elevate, stimulate and evolve the viewer emotionally, intellectually and spiritually.
